After nearly 5 years and with a new baby joining the family, it's sadly time for me to sell my Z4.

Price: £3k
Spec:
- 2004 registered BMW E85 3.0i Z4.
- 116,750 miles
- Sterling Grey with black interior, brushed aluminium trim and black soft top.
- Heated and electrically adjustable seats with memory function
- Automatic xenon lights.
- Automatic wipers and rear mirror
- M sports suspension
- Wind deflector
The good:
- Full service history nearly all at BMW main dealers or specialists. Intervals: 13,805, 25,634, 40,224, 49,264, 56,054, 60,494, 74,945, 86,834, 94,682, 105,027, 114,421
- Stamped book with lots of paperwork and receipts in a pack, see pic.
- 3.0L straight six cylinder M54 engine is a peach. Pulls strongly with linear power throughout rev range.
- Crisp gear shift, helped by preventative gearbox oil change
- Last service in November 2024 at 114,421.
- Work in last year totalling over 1.5k: new induction pipe, new water pump, new alternater, new brake pipe, new bonnet cable and latch.
- 4x Michelin pilot sport 4 tyres but rears are now low and an advisory.
- Genuine BMW ZHP gearknob
The bad:
- Advisories from recent service include the following: rear tyres low, diff seals leaking, the other rear brake pipe is corroded, exhaust flage bolts and nuts corroded, rear trailing arm bushes perished and slight oil leak
- Small dent on rear quarter due to low speed parking bump
- Front bumper has some lacquer fade and a small amount of paint flakiness so may want to respray. Paint is generally very good though considering age and has been regularly clayed, polished and waxed by myself.
- Wheels would benefit from refurbishing
- Drivers bolster leather is worn but the structure of the seat is good and this could be repaired.
- One key
- The 20 year old sat nav is temperamental but is not needed and would be suitable for upgrade.
Overall this has been a fantastic car and I'll be sad to see it go and would like to see it go to an enthusiast. It needs a bit of work (I've disclosed the issues I can think of) as reflected in the price.
Message me if you have questions. Accompanied test drives are fine if you have the necessary insurance.
