** SOLD ** 3.0 SI Coupe. Auto, 60k miles.

I wasn't aware there were any advisories. Can you see something online that I can't?

It failed on a suspension part, but I renewed that.

To update: I've just SORN the Z4, end of the month and all that, and am going to tuck it up somewhere dry for winter.

If anyone's interested in buying you're welcome to take a look, just be aware that it's not presently taxed or insured.

Sort of.

I'm chatting to interested parties, but with no real enthusiasm to give anyone a particularly hard sell.

I think I'm subconsciously inkling to keep it.

After 6 months in the shed, I've taxed and insured the car, and it sailed through its MOT today. 60,200 miles.

I'm happy to get another season's use from it, but it's potentially for sale if anyone's interested.

The private plate is sold, it's now back on its 56 plate.

I won't say a number but what I will say is that the market for these cars was tiny before covid arrived and the vast percentage of cars for sale have been so for 3 months or more, and some for closing on 2 years. So surely they are either overpriced or oversupplied or all poor examples?

Now in today's world I think everyone is guessing values high or low depending if you are buying or selling, and that's not just a Z4 problem that's the whole used car market.

Yours is a good colour combo though which I think is important, to compare the white one for sale on here at the moment is a niche within a niche, but no ones is likely to dislike your car for colour.

I think you bought very well 2yrs ago sub 60k at £8500 , id certainly expect to see £7500 + back even now with demand on the floor , don't give it away if you don't have to sell , the current situation won't depress the market forever & asking around £8500 doesn't seem ridiculous to me right now

Thanks both.

If I was buying now, and I'm not doing much for my cause here, I'd go go manual and get a car with xenons, as they're clearly more sought after.

I don't need to sell, I'm reasonably at peace with the idea of keeping it indefinitely. I just don't get the opportunity to do enough driving to justify ownership. Really it's an enthusiasts car, and I feel like much less of an enthusast than I was. I'm just as happy running errands in my son's battered Suzuki Alto if truth be told. :D

I have sent you a PM and email with an offer.

It is an opening offer, and you can come back to me with a counter offer.

But I do need to sort something this week and have got another one lined up that I don't want to miss so if you can let me know asap that would be great.

I am just down the road so could be sorted by today.

Hi mate,

Can you give me a reply to my PMs or the emails?

Or even better give me your number so we can have a chat?

I would like to ask you a couple of questions regarding the suspension, tyres etc. and can up my offer.

I would really like to know if we can agree a price asap as a few have come on the market over the last few days and don't want to miss them.

Thanks

Guy

Can you check your Private messages, I will give you a new email address.

I'm wondering if it is an old email that is attached to this forum, it was back in 2007 I joined and then ending up buying a CSL rather than the ZM so never really posted here.

Edit: yeah it was an old btconnect email I have not had for 10 years or so. I have now updated my details on here and PM'd you my work email address.
