After a lot of soul searching I have come to the decision to sell my less than a year old Z4. We have decided to think about moving house next year and need to save up to give the tax man his dues when the time comes :(

I am not in a huge rush and willing to consider sensible offers. I know that BMW are still doing a deal, according to their website, on this model but you can get a hardly used one with the addition of the superb 8 speed auto box plus extra practical goodies for less here. Will be really sorry to see her go but needs must. Note that I have outstanding BMW finance on this car but clearing this in conjunction with the buyer won't be an issue. Registered May 2012 and done under 5000 miles.

Standard MSport specification (Alpine white with black Kansas leather) applies plus the following extras:

- Aforementioned 8 speed automatic gearbox
- Wind deflector
- Folding exterior mirrors
- Automatically dimming rear view mirror
- Park distance control, front and rear
- Cruise control with brake function
- Extended lighting
- Seat heating
- Seal and protect with unused valet kit
- Service package inclusive, covering servicing up to 5 years

I am looking for £25,000.

Sorry to hear you want to sell Glaikit..

..Have you checked out AUC prices though.. they're similar or slightly cheaper so as a private seller you might need to drop the price a touch more if you're in a hurry as private buyers won't expect to pay dealer money IMHO. If not, GLWTS! :)

Not checked properly but locally to me an older AUC without the auto, service pack, heated seats is around the same. Unsure what an AUC would give over a car of this age anyway?

IMHO its the expectation that private sales would be cheaper than buying from a dealer who of course has a few thousand markup. Just my humble opinion, not sure how quickly you want to sell etc, not trying to pee on your sale. Indeed I hope you get what you want. :thumbsup:
 
With posts like yours probably not. :wink:

Am open to sensible offers but not in a rush and of course have finance to clear so can't give it away...!
 
Right then, things might be moving quicker than expected on the house front as looking at a new build with some incentives so am looking to only clear finance now and not fussed about a deposit on the next:

£23k is the new asking price.

If anyone is interested I can upload photos, now realised that all the ones I have are of my previous manual.

Maniac, just noticed that the second zed for a few hundred less is a manual and the auto is a better car all round in my opinion.

Sure.. was only pointing out that people would likely expect to pay less on a private sale... but the new price should get some attention for you.. good luck!
 
Good luck with the sale. Post it up on PH and Autotrader if your need is that strong.....should sell soon :thumbsup:
