Any questions let me know!

OMG, beauty of a car! 2 months earlier and maybe £1.5-2k less I would have taken this off you in a heartbeat! This literally is the perfect spec car

I'm always a sucker for the toys! It's been a great car but as a daily driver quite impractical due to size. Being quite tall I probably should of testdriven one first but saying that I've enjoyed the last three years with it. The option I regret not getting was the heated steering wheel...probably should of got in place of the useless internet!

Photos now updated after a good polish and wax over the weekend :D (click link in top post) . I've got to admit to being suprised by the lack of interest considering the price. What are peoples thoughts?

It looks stunning, if I were in the market for an E89, yours would be in no 1 spot! There are some 23i 10, 11 plate cars at BMW dealers which are more expensive than yours. My thoughts are that it is a difficult price point for a private sale, not necessarily your car and nothing much that you can do, but people tend to be considerably more cautious about buying privately at these levels (in my opinion). The ease of getting finance and the reassurance of buying from a dealer/trade is creates a difficulty for private sellers. I am not saying it can't be done, it will maybe take more time. What do the likes of WBAC come up with as an offering and have you tried to sell it back into the trade (BMW dealers)?

They are all valid points you've made and ones I've considered, I just thought they would be more buyers out there! Especially pricing it so much under garage comparables. I've actually just reduced the price further to £18,395. Mileage although reasonable is on the high side considering the others available but with four new tyres and service pack with two years remaining should keep running costs down for the next owner.

WBAC value is just over £17,500 and dealership offered £17,000 part ex so there is back up plans but I was certain someone would bite in return for a great deal.

I think this is an amazing deal. If I had not just bought a 20i a few weeks ago, I would have snapped this up immediately, especially for 18.4k! Perhaps people are just not so keen on the colour of the seats and the wood trim?

It's a cracking car, just my opinion I think the interior colour narrows your market and you'll have to hang on a bit until someone spots it who really wants walnut, when they do I'm sure it'll sell no probs as everything is right with it. Please don't take that as a criticism, it's not meant that way.

GLWTS.

The wood trim wasn't initially in my plans but after messing around endlessly on the configuator I thought it went quite well. Also I ordered the car in the dead of winter and didn't dance the coldness of metal trim! All down to personal taste really and as you say not everyone is keen. As far as the walnut leather goes, I'm not a fan of dark interiors and the keeping clean of ones too light. Knowing it would be driven a fair amount I thought best to avoid the cream. There is a limited market for these cars but have had a few enquiries and someone who seems serious is travelling 100 miles to take a look Friday, so fingers crossed. Thanks for everyones input.
