Nice car, I'd be weeping to let it go

The price guides are all over the place on this one so it's a matter of pitching against similar examples for sale and finding someone (anyone) in the market at the moment. On that basis your price can't be far out, the £8k worth of toys make it stand out and a buyer will get them for next to nothing against similar examples for sale at the moment.

If I was looking at buying a new one I'd honestly buy yours instead, extend the warranty and save myself £23k on the purchase price plus the depreciation at resale.

It might be worth getting some finance quote examples against your car, particulaly on used car PCP as the numbers could look quite tempting as examples of what might be available (not making an offer or a quote) to put in an advert.

Good luck

Never thought of it like that...

Save £23k on new....

Get a private plate, extend the warranty (both for £1k) and it might as well be new!

BARGAIN for someone surely?!

David,

Are you close to the police HQ in Wakefield? I think I may have seen your car in that area in recent months.

I'm ideally in the Market for one of the later Z4MC's, which makes yours a fair bit higher than the budget I had in mind - but it would be an alternative option for me and I'd like to take a look next time I'm over that way (if it hasn't sold of course). Can't be in the next week though as I'll be out of the country until 14th.

I'll check here when I get back and see what the state of play is....

Yes that's the one. Z4's are few n far between round here.

Let me know when you're around and can make it over to Wakefield.

Thanks

David

As per your suggestion, just did a Finance example, based on selling your car for £7k against mine at an example £23k, over 5 years its about £320 a month

The above is based on you OWNING the car at the end of the finance, and not having to hand it back or pay any 'balloon payment' to keep it.

Going to give it a good clean today and take some better pics.

Needing to sell fairly quickly and mileage just today tripped over the 30,000 mark, hence reduced original asking price by £750 to

£22,750

Thanks

Took a video this morning too, bit overcast so the Deep Sea Blue looks a bit dark

Mid week bump for you David.

I'll go look trawl the internet myself, but what's the boot size like compared to the e86 - and iirc is there useful space behind the seats? We use all space available during camping trips and I wonder if we'd be compromised in an e89.

The boot is quite large actually, certainly is with the hood up.

I've been away camping in it with a large 4 man tent and the parephernalia that goes with it.

Obviously if you don't mind the journey to the campsite with the hood up, then you can take loads :

Hood down, its a bit more restricted to what will fit under the 'tray' - but even then, its still pretty decent.

You lose a bit of height, and the two small areas on front of the rear ligth clusters

This pic doesn't give you a good idea of the room left to be honest, but the first pic does, in that you have the room pretty much vertically in between the two parallel lines that run up the photo. Front to back its quick deep still.

This is with the hood down, you've a small slit to get stuff out from....

But having comfort access, you push the boot release button and the hood half closes allowing you to open the boot as normal.

Behind the seats, there's a small ledge, about 7/8 inches deep, and on mine it has a small net to stop stuff moving around. Depending on how far forward you need the seat you can get quite a lot in there.

Not my pic this, so hope it embeds, but this is a not so good shot of that area

PS sorry any friends from over the pond reading this, the trunk, hood, boot terminology...!

Thought long and hard about it while I was away. Decided to go with my gut and keep looking for the MC I'd set my heart on. Hope you find a buyer soon.
