Unfortunately, if I sold the 224s separately the car would have no wheels as my 108s are gone

Mrs Bing has been supportive ever since kevshore offered me his way back - but I've always bottled it, or decided I need to stick to The Plan. Paul's is too good to miss, so I just came up with a New Plan. There is a cost, trust me

Of course there's a cost - part of being married is the unwavering acceptance that you're going to spend a large proportion of your life in the doghouse and the rest of it making amends for the, sometimes unfathomable, reasons that led to your occupation of said canine domicile. The secret is, on occasion, taking the initiative, pre-arranging acceptable atonement, and making the doghouse as comfortable as possible before having to take up residence...

PerryGunn, how is your shed coming along? :D
Quite well thanks, got the mains ring ready for wiring, 70% of the internal insulation and cladding is in place and I've got a nice 4m x 720mm slab of oak for the workbench

So it should make a nice little refuge for me next time I've something to atone for...

Interesting - I have a secret list of all the things she's bought on a whim that have turned out useless, the handbags, shoes & clothes she just had to buy (like yesterday's FatFace purchase in London) so when the WTF are those winter wheels & key ring parcels that were waiting at home conversation started it was an even discussion...

Pulled the soap box from under her feet ... moral if the story is plan ahead or get sunk badly

Oh dear.... you'll pay for that, not today, probably not tomorrow, but at some point you'll pay and pay and pay....

Logic doesn't work, and being 'in the right' is even worse - In any argument with your wife, if it turns out that you're right, apologise immediately....

I agree with Perry - on thin ice there Jembo :o

But well done on having a go

Mrs Hutch has just given up with me :D

I came home from work on Monday with a Black Sapphire boot for the Zed

Mrs T gave up a long time ago. I came home with an Alpina, then an M. She just sighs now :D

Don't know how I missed this!

Really brilliant write up bing! Very detailed and exactly what a prospective buyer wants to hear!

The car looks fantastic, have only seen the car once at Silverstone classics last year but looked fantastic!

GLWTS

:driving: is it sold yet ?

Not yet, very nice chap just had a look and a wee shot, he's having a think now... I am creating an army of converts to the auto box 8)

Thanks Tom, the car doesn't know what's hit it over the last couple of weeks the amount it's been cleaned

Lady Inkey$ hates most cars I buy but then admits months later (usually when its too late and sold) that she actually liked it. Despises the breadvan though. Actually turns her head from me in response when I ask her if she wants a ride in it and mutters something about it being an awful looking thing.

Oh, and apparently I've lost her set of the Golf keys too. Not quite sure how I did that since I dont use them but apparently I have. :headbang:
