Sold - 2006 3.0 si Sport Roadster for Sale + 1 yr Warranty

Hey Guys,

After nearly 2 years of ownership, the time has come to sell up my lovely convertible to get a family wagon for our first baby! :( :(

Bought 2 years ago from a Toyota dealer.
Used as my daily driver for about 5k miles / year. Stored in a garage when not at work or out and about!
Tyres - New fronts <500 miles ago, rears were new 12k miles ago.
Warranty - I purchased it with a 36 month warranty which expires on 23/5/2018. The warranty is transferable and if you want more details it's the 4* warranty from here - http://www.wmsgroup.co.uk/motor-trade-warranties/car-warranty/ - So you get the benefit of 12 months!
Manual gearbox
Mileage 72,000 (rounded up)

Dings and downsides - There is a crack in the rear centre brake light. There are minor stone chips on the front (none of particular note), there is also a scratch on the left wing mirror from the first time I put in it the garage  (photo included).
At BMW service last year they said both from suspension arm rubber bushings are deteriorating but they said it was not worth doing anything about that.
Scuff on one alloy.

Features - Pretty standard - Red leather with Piano black interior (seems quite rare and sooo nice!), electric adjustable heated sport seats with 3 memory settings. Bluetooth phone set-up, 6 cd auto changer, reverse parking sensors, auto lights and wipers,

Update

Mileage is 70,996 but that'll go up about 100 miles a week.

I just realised that the MOT is due on the 17th so will try and get that done ASAP so it'll come with a year MOST!

I went to see this car at the weekend and met Sean the seller. Firstly very nice guy was a pleasure meeting/chatting with you.
Anyone considering the car should go and see it for sure. Its not perfect (what is) but its an honest example in generally very good condition and looks amazing with the great condition piano black trim and red sports seats.
Feel free to PM me if you want a more in depth run down of what i thought.

Obvious question - why didn't i buy it? I've significantly upped my budget and looking at the M instead.

Update - MOT passed so valid for just over a year.
The only notification was that the rear tyres are wearing close to the legal limit.
I'm looking into getting a new set but going to wait until after the baby is here now as I won't be using the car much at all anymore. (Baby due date is today!)

Good luck with selling, and hope the birth goes well! Hot water & towels, and keep breathing and shouting encouragement at the wife. That always goes down well.

Good luck on both counts!

Shouting encouragement  We'll see. I've heard most ladies become demonic, not looking forward to that.

Thanks Simon, wish I could justify keeping it but already got the 'family wagon' and now it's just an expensive toy!

As Rob s pointed out he came to view it - he's seen more Z's than me in his time so was able to open my eyes about a few bits. Roof motor works but sluggish and noisy, so I'm also going to look at fixing that (or knock something decent of the price if anybody wants to purchase soon!)

Will 100% get back to the z4 life in future when my finances allow!

Hey, yeh definitely. I think I'm going to drop the price soon anyway and list on autotrader.
Still waiting on our baby to come before I list just so I can sort viewings in my Paternity leave (assuming viewings happen that fast :? )
Open to offers esp. from forum members so it goes to a good home!

*Bump* - Be good to get some more interest from the forum, had a few Autotrader viewings but would love to see her next journey from a member. Happy to do a forum price if there is anybody interested. Going to Put fresh tyres on the rear next week too as for my own usage I'll want them soon.
