Hi guys, I'm looking to urgently sell my 3.0i roadster (I'm not leaving the forum  )

For sale is my 2005 BMW Z4 3.0i in titan silver, with black leather interior and aluminium trim. It took me quite a while to find this car as I wanted one in the best condition - aesthetically and mechanically.
It's a really beautiful car that is a pleasure to drive. It also benefits from a large range of factory extras, including the rare M-sport suspension & cruise control options, making it very fun in the corners and very comfortable for longer trips.

The car has a full service history and has been very well maintained and looked after, always either garaged or kept under a waterproof cover; I find that the way a car has been treated in its life is far more important than its mileage.
I take pride in how clean and almost flawless the paintwork is (recently had a full detail) and take extra care to regularly treat the leather seats and keep the roof clean and treated.
The seats have almost no sign of wear - no cracking or loss of colour.
Hasn't ever been in an accident, no damage inside or out, very good condition
Only negative point is that the wheels might want a refurb if you're super picky about that

Comes with fresh MOT (8th March 2017)
All tyres are premium non runflats, Bridgestones and Goodyears
The roof motor was replaced by the previous owner (within the last couple years)
The suspension bushes were replaced with polyurethane ones in Dec 2015 (upgraded, longer life bushes)
Front brake pads changed to Brembo ones
Comes with all documentation and lots of receipts and two keys

Year: 2005
Engine: 3.0i
Mileage: 97500 (roughly)

Hi,

Have only joined the forum today, as seriously considering a Z4, though still making sure I'm not having a mid-life crisis.

Presently looking at the silver and the grey, but yours seems to have good spec AND, the wheels I like.

You said it has FSH, when was the last service? Were there any advisories on the MOT? and lastly, have you got any decent pictures for the inside?

I live in Somerset, so would take a bit to get to you, but not too much. :)

Thanks,

Hi there bulmor,

Firstly, welcome to the forum :) I don't think of it as a midlife crisis, I think it's just enjoying something you've always wanted to have, but have only gotten around to being able to acquire it

Agree with the wheels, the ellipsoids definitely look great on the z4's, a really nice option from factory.

I'll get back to you with the last service date, I'm not currently at home.

There was one advisory that the rear driver's side tyre is getting slightly low

If you reply via email, I can send more high resolution images of the car (including interior)
My email address is [email protected]

Happy to answer any more questions you may have :)

Look forward to hearing from you soon

Thanks

Yep! All ready to pick up and straight off to get a DLV exhaust! :D

I do love the 107s, but only in silver. I think they look odd in dark colours!

Just want to say a big thank you to Tim and Joe for looking after Claire and I on our visit to pickup the E85. To be honest though, I enjoyed the journey home a damn site more than Claire (country girl, didn't like the traffic closer to London), well done Joe for calming her down :-)

So since I got her, she's had a major service, two new rear tyres and the alignment and camber all put back to near perfect, am about £800 into maintenance now, with a few things to do to get her right, but is all good and totally expected on a 2005 car.

(Big shout out to Lee from FCM in Bristol, who took the time to ask me about my driving style, types of roads, annual mileage etc and set the car up just perfect (far more stable for me now), I like to push the corners a bit on the back roads, but am probably a big wuss compared to many of you).

Lastly, as my first roadster, I am totally amazed by how much more I enjoy driving now. I had an old E-Class 2.6 v6, but just used to take the 35 minute straight commute there and back, whereas now I seem to take the country back roads over the mendip hills most evening, so my journey home is now 55 minutes and, a whole lot more fuel (Lots of fun though :-)).

Absolutely no regrets with the gamble of a two seater, quite enjoying the freedom (and excuse not to take anyone with me). May it long last.

Thanks again guys for all your help.

Regards,

Mark

PS - For Tim & Joe - Claire managed to pull out of your road, then very next turn went the wrong way and I lost her for a bit (I found it more amusing than she did).

For anyone else, near Bristol and wants to use Lee for alignment and Camber, his number is 07940658321. I think a few other club members have used him and are accordingly equally pleased.

Hi Mark,

Really happy to hear that! Very glad that she's gone to a good home too, you know how much I loved and cared for that car - good to hear you're doing the same!

Please post some pics when you get a chance, I'd love to see her again, and if you're ever around my way, give me a shout as I'd definitely like to see her in the flesh again :)

If you ever have any questions about the car, feel free to ask me or the forum

Cheers
Tim
