How can you tell though. The same car of the same age with half the mileage could suffer from HG failure. I'm not sure why you are hung up about it so much when the HG isn't an issue on these cars.
It's a very reasnoably priced car, remeber the seats alone will get you £700 easy, making the car £3,300 compared to many out there with non M Sport seats.
cars with half the mileage could have HG failure but its much more unlikely. you can tell by getting t a compression/leakage test done (I cant remember which one is the more accurate one).
HG might not be recognised as an issue yet because not many have done 100k plus miles.
