Selling my Z4, so no need for these wheels any more!
18" MV1 wheels, genuine staggered set, 8" fronts, 8.5" rears. same offsets as 107s or 108s.
Spray painted black.
Fitted with Federal 595 RS-R tyres, sizes 245/35/R18 on the front, and 255/35/R18 on the rear. On a standard E85 2003 3.0i car these have zero rubbing, absolutely fine to run a 245 front tyre. It gives great turn in and very neutral handling.
Fronts have done i think 3 trackdays, probably have another 3-4 in them. Some outer shoulder wear, since its hard to get enough camber on a standard roadcar...
Rears have only done 2 trackdays, so probably have at least 4 days left in them - i find rear tyre wear is very minimal, these simply do not slide!
Wheels are all straight, no cracks or repairs, all tyres holding air nicely. little bit of curb rash, but mostly hidden by the paint, but thats beside the point - these wheels worked for a living, they obviously aren't concours! They have been my track wheels for the last 4 or so years, and have been all over the place - Bedford, Oulton Park, Cadwell, Rockingham, Donington, and even Spa Francorchamps, so these wheels have history
I have to say, if you're considering taking your E85 or E86 Z4 on trackdays, you NEED a second set of wheels with some decent trackday tyres. The amount of grip these give in the dry compared to normal road tyres is ridiculous - you can brake, accelerate and more importantly corner so much faster on decent tyres! And the Federals are actually alright in the wet as well, as long as you get some heat in them. I normally run them at 34 psi front, 36 psi rear, when the tyres are HOT.
Looking for £120, collected from Leamington Spa. Not worth my hassle to post, sorry.
