So, after a great (nearly) 6 years of owning my Coupe, it had to go to make way for a more sensible car for increased work mileage. Sad to end this era, but the up side for you guys is the opportunity to buy a superb set of Winter Wheels and Tyres!

TIMELY OFFER FOR SALE...

Don't waste your time and money swapping tyres on and off of your summer wheels, risking fitting damage and winter road damage, buy these instead!

So, we have the following:

4 x 17" Genuine BMW Style 103 Wheels that have been fully refurbished by The Wheel Specialist whilst I've head them. There is NO kerbing damage whatsoever on any of the wheels.

Refinished in a gloss Gun Metal Grey, the look so much cleaner for longer and add a nice contrast to the usual bright silver.
There is a starting of some slight under surface corrosion (predominantly on 1 wheel), which I’ve tried to capture the best I can in the pictures, but no sign of any loss of surface.

Tyres:
These are fantastic tyres! Just search for some online reviews, and Auto Express ratings. I originally had Vredestein Wintrac and to be honest they seemed less useful in the winter than my Summer Michelins!

Continental WinterContact TS860 x 2 225/45 R17 V Rated XL – Bought and fitted 09/12/16, and removed 01/04/17 with just over 1300 miles on them.

These are currently c.£120 each supply only
7mm+ - see photos

Continental WinterContact TS850 x 2 225/45 R17 V Rated XL – Bought and first fitted 16/12/13 with just over 7k (very gentle) miles on them.

These are currently c.£120 each supply only
7mm++ (nearly full 8mm as new) – see photos

Looking for a collection sale, due to difficulty shipping (packing safely for transport), but you are welcome to organise your own courier at your cost, however, much prefer local pickup, or I could potentially deliver in Derby / Nottingham / Burton areas for mileage cost.

Looking for £650 cash on collection or bank transfer, otherwise these will be heading for ebay….
So, c.£480 worth of tyres, and an excellent quality set genuine of refurbished alloys for £170…

Any questions please ask.

Do you know if these will fit over the brakes of a pan E89 35i?
If so, does anyone know what spacers would be needed to correct the offset? I suspect it will be 10mm & 20mm.

Yes they will fit , spacers i would go 15mm front & 20mm for a similar fit to 296 / 326 wheels

Do these come with the centre caps? You don’t mention them. I not, do you know in the centres from my 296s will fit them?

Thanks Mr Wilks!

Ok, I have one more question, probably for Mr Wilks again :D

What's the best way to go with wheel spacers? Longer bolts and bolt-through with 15mm and bolt-on with 20mm? Both with longer bolts & bolt-through or both with bolt-on?
Also, is there a preferred source? I see lots on ebay and they are a lot cheaper than most of the websites.

Hi [ref]Lazza[/ref], any progress on your sourcing of suitable supplier for Spacers / Bolts, or a decision on these wheels?

Maybe [ref]mr wilks[/ref], resident wheel knowledge king could kindly assist us again with regard to your query.

Cheers!

Hi John

Sorry, I’ve not been able to get on here for a couple of days.
I’ve been trying to work out the finances and I just can’t afford them at the moment. It’s a choice of wheels or a holiday next year and Mrs Lazza definitely prefers the idea of the holiday so I’ll have to leave it for now. Someone else can make the most of this bargain

These are now off to eBay. If any forum members are interested please let me know through here and lets see if we can do a deal!
