Soft top winter cover

Can anyone recommend a good winter cover for the z4 ... just one to protect the soft top...not the whole car. I live close to the sea and have loads of pesky seagulls that seem to drink either brake fluid or battery acid :(

Looks good, how much?
Hi, :? I wasn't actually looking to sell tbh, just simply replying to the op's request for a recommendation. £85 inc. delivery on the website linked seems reasonable to me  .

I have heard a few people say that the ukcover ones scratch the paint ....or maybe they all do if dirt gets between the cover and body ? :scratchhead: :scratchhead:

Well I certainly wouldn't recommend fitting it on to a dirty car . It does take a while to fit to make sure it's tight all round. The magnets are quite strong so if they get chance to move around, with high winds for example I guess the paint could get scuffed, particularly if dirt gets trapped underneath. I haven't seen any issues with mine but as said I've not used it that much yet.

Wouldn’t it be wiser to go for a full car cover if the intention is to avoid acidic birdsh!t?
I had what I can only describe as a huge artistic etching smack in the middle of my bonnet when I bought mine. Previous owner hadn’t bothered to rectify it and it wouldn’t wash out. It was only after I invested in a DA that I managed to shift it after a few passes using Megs compound.
Mine sits under its stormforce cover most of the time these days as I’m away on business quite a lot in Germany.
When I get back it’s always been hit at least a couple of times by the ducks that loiter around here. I’m sure they have some sort of agenda/campaign to target my car.
In any case, it’s def returned the investment and it’s nice to know it languishes under a nice blanket when I’m away.

Ok thanks ... I will be using / washing/waxing the car during winter so bodywork will be protected to a point ... I have just cleaned, re dyed and waterproofed the top with renovo so just wanted to give the roof max protection during the winter months
