Soft Top Sunday – Goodwood Pics (finally)

Hi All,

So I’ve finally taken my photos off of the camera from Soft Top Sunday. This is only a small selection as I ended up taking quite a lot and it seems to take an age to upload to photobucket.

First off, It was a lovely drive down to Petworth from Winchester. We only saw two cars and these were quickly dealt with. My colleague from work joined in the fun with his unmolested R33. In Petworth we me the rest of the forum gang and headed down to Goodwood. I would have loved to have gotten some pictures here as it was a nice line of about 7 zeds cursing on a crisp Sunday morning.

Some cars here that I must have missed (or they'd gone home early).
was a really nice drive down although a shame we didn't get to formally meet other Z4-Forum members!

Some great pics here and I look forward to the next one! :thumbsup:
 
Yeah, I think some people left quite early. I agree, looks like a lot of forum members went but didn't get to meet them. Maybe next time we all make sure we meet somewhere beforehand.
 
Certainly one or two forum cars there. I saw the orange one at Duxford last month.

I'd be up for the next one of these, last went to one a couple of years ago where we had a good forum turnout.
 
I did discuss with some forum members that we don't seem to have any forum meets down south. Most seem to be Midlands or further north. Maybe we can organize something for the southerners amongst us.
 
:thumbsup: :thumbsup: Looks fabulous. I especially like the out-of-focus effect on some of the shots to emphasis eg the front of the car. Great, looks like a superb day

Definitely. I know a few people that had mentioned this before but I guess it's just someone taking the lead and organising it. Plus we don't seem to have the dramatic scenery like they do up norf!
Would love a meet though, even if it's not attending something and just a catch up and a cuppa whilst being anoraks and looking at our cars...

You're right about the Southern Meets. Been on a few London meets that have been a good day out but we don't have the "roads" within the M25 IMHO.
Always willing to venture out a bit further but always seem to miss out due to work commitments.
Looking forward to the "National" in a few weekends. Always book Annual Leave as it's not to be missed. :thumbsup:
 
Ta for the pic comments. Still getting used to working the DSLR. It's like the Zeds, once you've got one, you want to start buying more bits for them. I want a new lens but then I'd rather spend that on the Zed! Oh the predicaments!!

There are some lovely roads in the saaaf but they're usually busy all the time. Even the A272 from Winchester to Petworth was fun at 6am. Not a sole in sight.

Thanks for posting the pics up Roundozo! Some really cracking shots you've taken there! Especially like one of the ones you took of mine, it's now my wallpaper! :D

The only downside to your photos.. It's making me want to lower my Zed even more now! :poke:
