Soft top repair advice

Pretty normal, this is where the top rubs on the rubber on the boot lid on the fold line when retracting. Mine has it also on both sides super annoying.
Good news its aesthetic and there is a sealed layer beneath. In all honesty there isn't a good way of repairing it, There are kits, you can glue it but it just makes it look worse from an aesthetic point of view. Basically highlights it more. There are plenty of threads about this issue give it a search
Only way to solve properly is a replacement. Either one from a breaker which cost about £200 or a new one which is about £800 both without fitting.

Very careful application of super glue would stop it going and further but try not to glue it to the membrane underneath.
Looks like its a matter of stopping it fraying any further. I used some of this on a small hole in the internal door pull handle that previous owner had stabed it with a key in their hand when opening the door.

This stuff sets hard and did the job for me it hides the damage very well. It might be suitable for filling that hole in the canvas you have and wouldn't look unsightly if applied carefully, itwould certainly stop any futher fraying. You would need a small spatula to apply it and smooth it, maybe a cocktail stick to score the material lines in it when filled to the correct height. Once set its waterproof so no worries on that front.
