Soft Top Opening Problems

Hi All I have a problem trying to open my soft top. The soft top opens nearly all the way and then it seems to jam and wont move anymore.I have tried opening it on the button and manually and it still jams in exactly the same place, any ideas please, many thanks

Is the parcel shelf down?

Yes the parcel shelf is down I have checked that its a real head scratcher.

It may be folding incorrectly, or they may be something jamming it, has it ever worked correctly
Do you know anyone local with a zed an can look at the 2 side by side

Hi many thanks for your reply, yes it used to work correctly, up until the end of last summer. I have tried opening it manually and it jams in exactly the same place. I didn't know of another zed owner. I think I will have to take it to a bmw specialist.

My e85 did this & I discovered mrs Smartbear had left a couple of books on the parcel shelf which jammed things up nicely. Have a good look around that area

I have checked the parcel shelf and it is down, also there is nothing in the boot obstructing it anyone got any ideas ??
