Soft top not working

Hello everyone!
When I try to open the top of the car nothing is happening, The LED is blinking red.
I completely unmounted the soft top of the car in order to change the motor like everyone is doing on youtube. The motor is rusted but not too much.. I changed it with a new one but still not working.. I tested the old motor with a battery it worked perfectly so the problem isn't from the motor..
According to the fuse box I checked number 12, 31 and 55 they are fine nothing wrong there also..
I looked a little bit in this forum and saw it can be from the hall sensor, but I checked it's perfectly in place.
Some people said wires are broken but I checked them everything's looking fine.
What can be the issue here ? Really getting mad with this one xD
thanks alot for your help

Are you really sure that the wires are correct? That is my problem that is why I ask you as the symptom was the top would stop in some cases (opening or closing) and if I would dangle the wires it would start again.

I’d also check the roof control module- they are starting to fail

Where you based?

Hello all, thanks for your reply!
@zriha, once you pull the wires how can you check if they are ok (put aside visual check) ?
@bigwinn, where is the control module placed in the car ? I'm based in Lebanon here it's difficult to find reparing shops for those kind of things that's why I have to do it on my own ^^"
I've attached pictures of the wires on both side of the hinges, do you see any problem there ?

Connect the two ends of the wires to the digital multimeter, and if the connection is ok you will see. Visually any breaks in the cable can make you a problem.

Pay close attention to where these wires have been kinked. Once you have the wires on the multimeter flex the wires to see if there are any changes in the reading which would indicate a break in the wire.

Hello all!
First thanks for all your advices, I found the problem and it's a leaking situation ^^"
The hinge on the passenger side is leaking..
Is there a way to fix it ? maybe a broken seal or something else ? Or I'm gonna have to buy a new hinge ?
Thanks again for your help really appreciate it :)
