Soft top motor - hydraulic fluid.

Hello

Currently, I'm trying to repair my motor. I lost a little bit of hydraulic fluid. Could You tell me, if there is a need to refill it? :? There is no need to remove air from whole system?:>
Fluid container connected to the motor is about half full/empty ;)
 
When I changed mine, I lost a bit of fluid - searching here suggested it had enough in reserve for this not to be a problem.

Believe the system self bleeds too - it may need to run a few cycles to do this, but should get there.

Failing that, I think the parts desk at a dealer should have fluid!
 
I've also seen this Oil on Amazon and Ebay which might be cheaper than BMW
