Soft top Light Very Dimly Lit

The lower light next to the buttons to lower and close the soft top is very very dimly lit (not as exaggerated in the pic). The whole soft top was replaced this summer and it has come on since replacing it.

Here is a picture of it:

Anyone know what this means?

Thanks.

The op has a e89 going on the pic but has posted in e85 section, which be the difference between models

That’s strange, he says the soft top was replaced? :?

Light doesn't come on in mine. :?
Dim lights often indicate an earth some where. If it works I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it. :)

Mines also not illuminated at all when the roof is fully up / down. I can’t be much use otherwise though I’m afraid :(

It has to be really dark to see it. It’s only very faintly lit

+1

Yeah it needs to be really dark to spot it. In my picture the camera had focused on it and made it look brighter...

My 3rd picture not dark enough??? I’d echo buzyg comments though, if everything works just forget about it.
