Soft top cover for the winter

What is the recommended go to cover for an 56 plate Roadster sitting under a Rowan tree sheddin it's wee red berries and the blue tits 'n steckies hanging their bum over it ?
I see the cabrio shield on eBay and then Amazon have cheaper all over vest and pants for £30
I suppose I could easy search on here but I thought I should try a new post

Hi, I'd suggest you'd want to cover the whole car, not just the soft top.
Bearing in mind the wind blowing the covers around, you need to make sure it's high quality to prevent scratches.
The money you save by going cheap will not cover the costs of sorting your paintwork.
A lot of people recommend Stormforce.
I've also read of people covering the cars with soft sheets of thin blankets first, with a cover over the top.
This will save any scratches, but they could possibly hold damp in.
A good clean and a thick layer of wax should help though.

Presumably this cover has a strap under the car. Can you say how many, and where?

2 lateral straps between the wheels as standard and I sewed in 2 hooks front and back to fit a longitudinal elastic cable for peace of mind during high winds to prevent the front or back of the cover blowing over its arse/nose.

Not waterproof but definitely showerproof and breathable so condensate dissipates easily.
Good alternative to protecting bodywork/hood if you don’t have a garage imo.
I go away for long periods during the winter and it’s nice to get back and uncover it to find it’s in the same state as you left it.
I always give the car a wash before throwing it on to avoid microscratches from dust being rubbed against the paintwork by the cover when it’s windy. Haven’t experienced any scratching in any case tbh.
