Same. I have a coupe and I cringe more when passengers slam the boot instead of just letting it go from the right height.

Our X6 has this factory fitted.
Really nice but as others have said trying to stop people from slamming the door like a normal car is a difficult task.
Dont think its worth the amount of hassle to retrofit the system though.
