Ok, so here is my top story. :driving: Got a used top, complete, but it was black form Bavarian Auto Recyclers.
Found an upholsterer who said that he can get a tan top and install the new frame and top for $1800, remember, I already got the frame for $1200. 8) So, I gave him my car on Thurs, Feb 12. I went back the next Tues to see how he is doing. He said the new frame don't work,
but he thinks the old frame was weldable. OK, so off I go to my mechanic. He thinks it must be electrical, :? so he calls up the guy and gets him to bring the car over to his shop so he can put it on the computer. 2 days later, I am calling to find out what happened. Mechanic found a short, but didn't know where. So, come Monday,( 11 days, so far) :tumbleweed: I go to the upholsterer, he has the car and said that he is going to try the new frame once again and if it didn't work, he was going to get his friend to weld the old frame. Well, he calls me on Thursday and tells me that the car is ready and has the new frame on it. 
A friend of his found a relay that was bad, so for $25+time($80), my car is fixed. Looks really good and the top is on TIGHT!
If anybody needs a used black top, let me know and I think we can do business. It looks to be in good condition to me.
