So what now?

Put the 440i vert on a couple of forums today (not this one as you're all heathens); deposit received at full asking in less than 20 minutes (and had a chap offering over asking to secure). Quality will always win out! :)
Car will be gone by next weekend (buyer was a previous E86 M owner and member on here and had a Z3M bread van).

So my (new) master plan can begin to come to fruition.................... :P

You had that M6 itch earlier on? Nowadays there must be bargains…

Sounds like I just bought it...
(I haven't!)
Congrats on the sale

Fixed that for you.

Well done on the sale, looking forward to the upcoming posts about what you’ll end up not buying :poke:

They bought it with those awful black wheels ???
Yep; some people have no taste! I had two people asking if they could buy the wheels only!

can i please nominate an 80s/90s hot hatch.
If I could find anything for reasonable money, I would be all over it.

For now it's going to be 2 wheels. I fancy having a 'tinker' with a couple of '70s, '80s or '90s bikes. Just got to find some which aren't stupid money for a box of rusty bits! :)

Raleigh Chopper should about suit you I reckon. :D

Just take care not to get your Bay City Rollers scarf caught in the spokes.

Happy days!
I never had a Chopper, though, my parents were too tight. I had a Chopper look-a-like which my dad got from the tip and tarted up. :(

My biggest problem is having an empty garage and money in the bank, though! :(

I like to give you something to do Andrew! :P

We can have our forum lettuce - which lasts longer, the empty garage or the lettuce

I looked longingly at an E90 M3 (v8) earlier this week (on Collecting Cars) which I’ve always fancied. But then came to my senses. Why do I want 4 doors?! And a permanent roof?! I was ok after a lay down. Thanks for asking.

Good luck with the search. Looking forward to seeing what you choose…. 🤔

Bloke who's buying the 440i lives near you (said he's from Reigate, or Gatwick as the rest of the world knows it).
You may know him; he had a Z4MC a few years ago and was a member on here (also had a Z3M breadvan which he sent to Cloggland to be sorted out?)

No such thing as a cheap bike anymore.
I sold a mint low mileage Kawasaki Z1000 DAF five years ago now for £5,300. Same bike will be £7k now with more miles and five years older! :o
