So what exactly is my phone option?

I have a 2003 3.0l with literally every optional extra except for Bluetooth it seems, I have Nav and an option in the menu for telephone and that phone cradle between the seats but don't want to add any after market bits so what are my options?

Get an old phone for the cradle?

Retrofit Bluetooth?

I am surprised I literally have every optional extra but don't have Bluetooth, is this because its a 2003 or am I just being dumb?
 
If you have the cradle you have bluetooth. Just pair the phone, no need to get a cradle for your particular phone (if you can even get one).
 
Hmm maybe I need to try harder then, I cant get it to pair, I do know the procedure I just assumed I didn't have Bluetooth because the procedure doesn't seem to work for me.
 
Lol I now feel stupid, just been looking through the paperwork and found the pairing code for it! Doh, will try again tomorrow.
 
It's also a right PITA to do sometimes - takes repeated attempts to get it to work. The best thing to do is clear all previous pairings - it's either in the phone handbook, or have a search on here for 'clear pairing'.
 
Got it working now, had to dig around in the boot for the pairing code though! Luckily just gently pulled the carpet back and stuck my iPhone in there to take a photo of the sticker so didn't have to remove anything because the previous owner had actually written the wrong code in the owners manual.

I found holding the button for 3 seconds, turning the ignition on and letting go after a further 3 seconds did the trick.
