So... Stubby or Not?

So I ordered a stubby (6.5cm) from ebay around 1am on Friday, was very suprised to see it come through today! :D

So what do people think? I havent noticed any signal loss, but then i removed the aerial completely and didnt notice any either. (I must live in a good area)
 
The first thing i bought for my z4 was a stubby. I've heard that the radio signal is poor but i didn't notice any change so i dont even bother keeping my whip in the boot anymore.

Your wheels look smart as well!
 
Interesting .... I think I quite like Mr Stubby on the roadster: looks a bit neater. But I am not sure it works on the coupé.

P.S. Also like your wheelies.

I've kept the whip on mine as I don't mind it so much. That said, FM reception is awful with the whip - I'd imagine that if the stubby doesn't make it worse there's not much point keeping the whip in the boot.
 
how can anybody think the whip looks better !?!?!?
my stubby actually seems to give me a better reception, but that could be in my mind, its prob the same.
what size are your wheels, they look smart ?
 
Thanks for the replies guys. I think I do prefer the stubby. The girlfriend didnt even notice it though :roll:

Wheels are 18" Anthracite CSL Reps, I'll have to thank inkey$ for those :thumbsup:
 
Lol! That's funny. I kept the stubby that I had on her before and coincidentally fitted to the MC today too :)
