I hate things that get in the way of looking through the front screen, cant abide dangly things and the like so where the hell do I put my sat nav cos I aint got one built in. Tried putting it with the sucker onto the screen bottom right, didnt like it there, tried other areas and it just seemed to get in the way.
Opened the little cubby hole on the dash top and wondered how I could get the Garmin to fit without sliding around so I put a strip of sticky, on one side, felt along the rear bottom edge of the sat nav but stuck it onto the little plastic mat which resides in the cubby hole. I put another smaller piece along the bottom front edge of the sat nav and stuck that to whatever was underneath and bingo. The sat nav fits nicely into the slot that I have created and is held in place by the lid which seems to open to just the right height.
