So my Horn has died...

Go in through the lower wheel arch access panel... can't miss it :D

You have one horn on each side of the car...
 
I just tried my horn, i never use it, its sounds like a tarts car, should the standard horn sound like that?
 
I had to drive through a very deep puddle in my E46 once and it filled one of the horns with water. Instead a meaty blast it sounded more like someone blowing bubbles underwater! Fortunately it dried out by the time I put it thru the MOT.
 
just took my car for a sevice, asked them to check the horn whilst it was there, they informed me that it is faulty, to be replaced under warranty
 
On my UK E85 car, high note horn (not working) on offside, low note on nearside, relay low current (switching side) fuse No 14, high current (load side) fuse No 37.
Triple air horns fitted today in nearside behind bumper all through access hatch.
Takes me back to my Twenties when I fitted them to all my cars, and they should last longer than OEM.

hi. had the same problem with mine. :( popped into local car breaker and got one off another old bmw 3 series....£2 :thumbsup:

i took the knackered one with me and just looked around the breakers at all the bmw's they had and just matched it up with the part number stamped on the horn. there were loads of bm's that had the same horn layout, just make sure you get the correct one ie. high tone or low tone. they just wanted a couple of quid and said if it didn't work i could swap it with another one. 8)

Are they the same ? Great idea :thumbsup:
