So my Horn has died...

as per my MOT advisory '1 of 2 horns not working'... I was un-aware we had two horns but hey-ho...

Found out which one was dead at the weekend (the one on the right) but I got to thinking how can a component which hardly gets any use, just die in the first 7 years of the car's life...

Phoned to order a new one (just over £31 from Joe @ Soper's BTW) and was told I needed to know the part number printed on the horn rather than just the side of the car it is on...

Came home and removed the horn from the car and on inspection the reason for the failure became all too clear:

Have a spare set for when I want to "chav" up another car

See, you are wrong there.

Abarths are made in the Ferrari factory, together with the Ford Ka in .... Poland ...

Indicators are option code 217.

There is a retrofit kit available. Not sure if all the wires are there though.

In all seriousness, well not totally serious, but doesnt the horn sound a bit effiminate in the car? Mine definitly sounds a bit camp, makes me ashamed to use it

yours prob has one of the horns gone too (mine does) cant find it though? took the panel off covering the rad and couldn't see anything then lost intrest.
