Fortunately it was on the plactic bumper. Still a bummer though... sorry mate.

BMW need to get their act together and have an alarm which takes a few photos or videos when the alarm goes off. Given that £20 mobile phones have cameras in them these days, it doesn't seem unreasonable.
 
Now we just can't have this!!!!and a fellow Virginian............this calls for special attention
