So impressed with my M - I've gone and bought another!

I blame being around all these pansey Roadster owners talking about their topless antics in the glorious sun we had! :P

And one with the hardtop (need to get this colour coded I think?)

In all seriousness I've always had convertibles and since the Lotus went I've missed it. In addition I need to claw back some of the money I've got invested in cars so this is going to replace my track dedicated RX7. And obviously this will get more use (a fun weekend car for fmaily outings to the coast, too see family etc then an occasional drift car for when I need my fix :) )

So what do you think? Am I a glutten for punishment having x2 S54 engined cars?!?! When I saw the pictures I thought I'd like to put all the chrome bits back on, thought it would look more classy and ensure its not chav like. But in the flesh the black and blue works really well and I don't think it does look like it belongs in a Maccy D's car park. Thoughts?

I have always liked that version/colour of the m3

Was the 'blue' on the z3m the same as this?

Cheers guys. I am lucky. But I am going to be very sorry to see my RX7 go, especially the way it will go (broken for parts and eventually scrapped) I've had that car for over 7yrs, longer than I've ever had a girlfriend!!

Beautiful car, my favourite colour. Quite like the black instead of Chrome, but agree that the hard top would be nicer colour coded.

Very nice.. i like it

I'd have to put the chrome grill back on though, looks wrong to me. If this is as well as the e61, you now have 3 BMW straight 6s? :P

Yeah it is as well as the E61. 6 months ago I had never owned a BMW, bought the 535d and was so impressed.... now look where we are!! :)

The 535d may go as well, we'll have to see how things are after the wedding, see if we need to free up some more cash :?

And thanks for the kind words, they are really appreciated. I'm still not 100% this is the right decision, its certainly the sensible thing to do (free up some cash) but my heart isn't quite there. So any compliments on this car will help no end. (I'm such a girl!! NOI :P )

Well I think you've made a silly mistake. The only way to rectify this mistake is to hand over ownership of the M3 to me right now. :poke:

Lovely, as others have said, you're a lucky man... However x2 on the black grills, not great. Wheels are good though

Heaven help m3cutters when you arrive with a basket of questions  got the colour right this time ? :poke: :D

Oh those poor buggers have had to put up with me for a while already :D

Nice car  I'd definitely change the grills and as for the dark wood trim, I can't work out whether I like it a lot or not at all!
