So I had a few panels resprayed on my 15 year old Z

After I noticed lacquer peeling away from the rear quarter panel and a few other blemishes, I decided to get the 15 year old Z treated

I had the rear bumper, Left door, left skirt, left rear quarter panel and front bumper resprayed. The finish is excellent and running my finger along the non treated panels is liking touching sandpaper, so some serious clay-baring tomorrow.

I used https://www.facebook.com/carsmetics.org @£800 (they had the Z for a week)

Sorry no before pictures and my old Samsung phone is a tad sh1t

Nice! I need some panels respraying on mine, so it's good to have an idea of the cost.

Pretty much both sides in my case :headbang:

I was surprised at the cost, as I had the rear bumper sprayed some 4 years ago and it cost me £300

Due to the direction the Z is parked at home, it gets the sun only on the passenger side. I think this is why the drivers side is in good condition

Looking good and the price seems very reasonable.
Sorry for asking but looking rear bumper picture, does your driver side exhaust tips stick out further than the other side? Maybe its the angle :o

Identical. I paid good money for the new exhaust system to be aligned correctly :)

To get the z looking first class £800 is not a lot to spend considering the length of time you have owned the car

Thanks and I agree. Besides, my Z is probably worth £4k now, so cashing in with £4800 wouldn't get me much else

I think if you put it up for £4800 ,you would be fighting prospective buyers off.

That’s looking very nice ranski
I have lots of scratches on mine so , like Ben G said , nice to have some idea what it would cost , beautiful looking car mate

i tried to get my front bumper re-sprayed from a well recommended place from people on here and on pistonheads.

they wanted 500 notes just for the bumper. it's got a few scratches on it but nothing major.

can anyone recommend a decent cheap place in or around glasgow?
