I really need to get out more.
Me too Iain. Up until 2019 I did 15,000 miles a year.
In 2020, I travelled about 800. In 2021 I did 1,000. I put it down to 'Covid anxiety'

You might as well just get a mobility scooter for that kind of mileage :poke: :P

About 3000 mostly around the M25
Did that not make you dizzy?
Bloody surprised anyone can do 3miles in the UK biggest car park

It wasn't always like it is now.

Back in the late 80s yuppie era before there were any speed cameras I believe Sierra Cosworth and 911 owners used to manage a lap late at night/early in the morning in less than an hour - it's only 117 miles after all!

Aye, and he’d only need to charge it once

2.5k in the 35is and 4.5k in the so 7 in total which is not bad for not being allowed out for half the year

All done on weekend jaunts or forum runs. Next year’s Pyrenees trip will be about 3-4K on its own add in all the other forum runs and it should be a reasonable amount :driving:

Around 3,500 I think - the majority being the trip up to Scotland for the fabulous NC500 run last September. It's not the miles in your life, its the life in your miles :) :driving:

5,896 miles between MOT's. None of them necessary but bargain of the year at only 10.17639077340569 pence each.

Walking pace, they need to get better cars with more grunt

I 'ran in' a car back in the late 80s just by driving around the M25 late at night, I had an 808 State album on cassette playing... when ever I hear that track Pacific State it reminds me of the M25!

2382 miles last year due to Covid mainly curbing my travels

However … 2022 has about 6000 miles pre planned, with a couple of big Euro trips pencilled in and 14 different countries ( I think )

:driving:

Till the Met got a couple of unmarked 911’s and liveried up Supra’s/968’s/tomcats/calibra turbos and few other things amongst them an unmarked Rover SDi V8 Vittese tuned and fitted with twin Janspeed turbos

There’s a story about a Ferrari driver getting his cheque book out when stopped on the M25 doing a ridiculous speed, not to pay the fine but offering to buy the Rover

Daily drive the coupe covering a total of 12,918 miles in 12 months and enjoyed every minute... until the loud beep to tell me its below 3°c

Would not have been able to drive fast enough around the M25 to go dizzy. Mad yes but not dizzy
Don't knock the M25. It transformed connections in the south east quarter of England.
As a service engineer based in the home counties, it was the best thing that happened in the '80s, '90s and to this day.
Before the '25' it wasn't feasible to work in Kent, Essex, or even Surrey from our home in Bucks.
