more money than sense :poke:
You may think so - I couldn't possibly comment .....
Except it's SWMBO's car and I get the Brownie points ;)
And it can always be removed and resold - if she ever parts with the car!

You won't regret it. Despite mine trying to eat me on installation (I had my keyfob in my pocket which pressed close on the roof while I was half inside the boot!!) I love its functionality. No problems so far, foldy roof at speed, one touch operation, comfort boot access, windows up and down from the fob and more...

Does it fold the mirrors too?

Just fitted a Smart Top module this morning :D
Customer service and delivery from PPCGB was excellent.
The instructions were spot on and the trim removal very easy with a removal tool from ebay.
It woud have been a 20minute job except I managed to drop the centre pin from one of the trim clips into the depths behind the o/s pivot :headbang:
I still haven't found it.

After the initial fit I checked the operation before fastening back up. All was OK
However after re-routing cables and hiding the module, it steadfastly refused to work. The green LED was showing a constant wiring fault
Having un-plugged and carefully re-plugged the connectors everything now seems fine :D The need to properly seat the multi-pin sockets cannot be stressed enough :!:
I've trailed the USB lead into the battery well where it can easily be hooked up to a PC via the USB port.
For any Mac users there is now a free app (m4cconnect) so you don't need a Windows computer to reprogram ar alter the functionality.

All in all I'm very pleased, despite the cost and with luck I should get Brownie points as well

Glad it went sort of well at least. My USB lead is behind the bit of soft trim that pops out near the rear lamp clusters for the same reason. I use a Mac to configure mine (well, turn it off when the car is in for service). I and others have said many times, the weakspot is the clamp on the big connector that goes into the roof control module. You ABSOLUTELY must pull that clip into the fully open position, push the connector on as firmly as you dare then place the clamp securely back down. Failure to do this will mean intermittent faults or complete malfunction.

If done right though, how cool is it to be able to get the roof down and up with a single fob press, or just roll down or up the windows from the fob, or just press a button while driving and it all just happens. Love it. Just one word of warning though, only operate the top on smooth roads, because if you whack a road imperfection while its opening or closing, well...
