There weren't any this cheap on ebay at the time. Quality is pretty good, been on for 6 months and it hasn't cracked or blown any LEDs.

Do the ebay lights come with the new springs or do you buy those separately? The light in my zed was broken when i bought it so about time i replaced it. just a bit wary of using the existing springs and putting to much tension on, doesnt seem like an exact science.

Springs are usually a separate purchase. Check the individual advert.

thanks buzyg, ill have a look at the ad when i order the light. Whats the general opinion on colour, red or the clear light? i think the red would look better against my car colour (sapphire black) but a lot of people seem to like the clear.

Has to be personal opinion. Mine is OEM clear. That does seem the more popular/common choice.

For Black Sapphire - red on pre-facelift, red or clear on facelift. But it's all personal choice...
(at home we have red on pre-FL and clear on FL, both Black Sapphire E85s)

My Chinese copy arrived tonight. The connector was a close replica but not close enough to fit the BMW half of the wiring loom Swapped the original BMW brake light connector and it all works fine. I'm happy enough with the quality for under £30 8)

Thanks for that, definitely gonna go clear. Black e85s are just the best IMHO
