Snowing again

Frustrating as hell.
More snow forecast for tonight here near Sendai, so the Zed has been tucked away under its cover with a float charger ... again.
Actually, that's the way it's been for most of this winter.

I used to like snow. Once.

Now I consider it evil.

And to make things worse, after the last heavy snow, the snow on the roof of my house that had partially remelted and frozen multiple times, thus becoming a sort of aerated ice pack, came careening off said roof at terrifying velocities in chunks that seemed to land preferentially on the hood of my Zed. The lightweight aluminum and easily dented hood of my Zed. Fortunately, no dents or scratches have been sustained ... possibly thanks to the cover. But it had me worried there for a while.

Farkin' snow ... :x

I was meant to have an appointment in herts at 1pm today.... got a call at 8.30 to say its cancelled

Some pics i took.. (From North London) the view last night at about 10pm:

Very selfish of him given yours is a convertible - move it outside when he's at work and hide the keys

Golly, I don't miss snow. I grew up in Fargo, North Dakota before joining the Marines about ten years ago and I went back for Christmas this year and it was about -20. Does it get brutal cold there too or just snow?

No snow up here in Cumbria just on the fells. Funny tho yesterday morning it was about -2 and it rained... and froze instantly everywhere was glass I was on my arse 3-4 tims just on my 1/4 mile walk to work there were over 100 incidents yesterday alone. Never seen that happen... ever.

You did well to escape :P

(I can say that as I grew up in Johnstone but managed to escape myself)

I keep expecting a massive dumping of snow to hit us up here as per last year but it's not forthcoming. Long may that continue
