Snow Foaming the Zed

Hi all,

Thought I would give the Super Spray hose attachment I received last week a go with some snow foam,

I was a little sceptical of the results but it did the job quite well with covering the Zed in thick suds and at less than a tenner a worthwhile buy if you don't want to haul the pressure washer out and foam lance. After foaming I left it for a few minutes before hosing down and washing by hand

Had the foam been left for a while before you took the photos, as normally it's much thicker. It took a couple of tried before I had the foam lance just right to get a foam that stuck around for more than a minute.

Agree with you mmm-five... I haven't got any pics, but yes - mine is usually much thicker foam too...

Yes it was much thicker when applied but was sliding off the Zed before I managed to take some pics, I don't this this will ever be as good a foam lance with a pressure washer as I'm guessing you have got the greater pressure to produce the suds but I was pleasantly surprised with just using a normal hose

I think cleanyourcar is best, but there are a few other places that people recommend. I did post a comment about the foam you'd got before I realised you weren't using a pressure washer, realised I was being dumb (again), and deleted it

I'm a recent convert to using snow foam as a pre-wash. I purchased the Autobrite snow foam lance on the DW group buy for £39.99 delivered, this also comes with a 500ml bottle of the AB snow foam

I use the same foam as you, you would see a much better result when using the CYC foam attachment for your pressure washer - TBH without a pressure washer it's really just a waste of the product.

The pic of my foamed Z doesn't look to have much foam on the front bumper because it's been sprayed pre foaming with APC to lift stubborn bugs etc.
