Nigh on 30 years driving Ford Capris must have immunised me from the RWD debate?
Admittedly after one month trying it I put the 2.8i back in the garage (LSD and all) and picked up a 2.0S for fun.
Never been stuck and only gave up once, after a 12 hour shift at RAF Marham on snow clearing duties when I couldn't find my car! Must have been in that long mound of snow outside the hangar I reckon!
TBF, having a cheapo car and access to loads of cheap spare parts probably helped my attitude a little.
The people who got stuck were the tentative ones who worried about ditches, hedges etc.
