Looks like a recent addition (as compared to the house)...
I dig the 3 car garage. I have a 2 car garage, but I can only get 1 car in it due to all the lawn equipments and kid's junk.
 
I have a two car garage and a two car carport - perfect for all my gas buddies, with room to spare :D . Couldn't imagine keeping anything out in the elements on a permanant basis *shudders*
