car is just back from being detailed.

What's the story with the german plates?

Photos not exactly inspiring, but amazing given taken on a phone. Car is looking good. Explain the 'detailing' a bit more please.

Plates are road legal irish plates in the german style, popular over here on bmw's and vag's, some go for more german markings etc but the police don't take kindly! What would you like to know about the detailing?

hi, yes you generally drop it off, takes from 1-2 days (if one day generally 12 hours or so), process sounds simple

1. Wash
2/3. Clay
2/3. Dry
4. Polish
5. Seal

however the preparation has to be right for the polishing, i.e. all contaminents removed from the surface of the paint, then each panel has the paint thickness gauged to see how aggressive they can be with the polish to remove any defects in the clear coat, the polishing is the most time consuming part of the work
