Surely a lot harder to do on any car made in the last 20 years, there's just so much ...stuff... in the engine bay. Bmw have already moved the battery to the boot though, so that's something.
Also the 6 cylinder is quite a lump already, not like the small engines in relatively big engine bays of old.
Be interesting to see what could be tidied up though.
