I took off kind of fast and there was a lot of smoke coming out the tail pipe. I mean a lot of smoke. I had to drive it home and the smoke keep coming out for a few miles then stopped. I drove it another 30 miles home and there is no smoke coming out now. What could had happened?
It is a 2007 3.0i. The smoke was white. I was in middle of town couldn't get out and check out the smoke.
There seems to be oil in tail pipe. Drove it again today and it seems fine and oil level is OK.

Does anyone have idea what happened?

Hi, what engine is it. You haven't really introduced yourself or your zed..
Put some info up, it will help people determine what could be wrong.

And also, give us some details about the smoke:
- colour
- smell
- density - was it like a mist or thick smoke

Maybe it’s linked to this? What cause did you find?

GR3 as others have stated please provide more information so a possible answer could be given. Was it white or black smoke? How many miles does car have? Was the CCV ever replaced? Are there any noticeable oil leaks around the engine?

Really poor form OP, not a good start with the community.

As others have said, you need to have a look at your valve cover gasket. Water and oil will produce the white smoke.

Check for mayo under the oil cap to see if water is mixing with other oil.

Will someone reply with knowledge of what might be wrong.
Thanks

You’re not helping yourself here, I’ve asked questions about earlier problems you’ve had with the car but you’ve not replied :?
