Silly question. At the bottom of the little block of smilies there is a link to more smilies, all I get when I try to pick one of the new ones is the whole damn page. How do I get to use the other smilies??? What simple little step am I missing ?

just click on the one you want and it should be inserted into your post (as a code).

If you don't get a pop up box when you click "show more smilies" it'll be Firefox or IE blocking the pop up, so you'll have to allow them on this website.

Nope doesn't work. I'v tried it a dozen times. I will try it at home on my Mac, this junk at work is probably the cause of the failure.
I see from one post that Vista and IE don't work, it appears that Win 2000Professional with IE doesn't either.

:tumbleweed: these ones work fine but the others won't. The cactus is very apropo as I just bought a place in Phoenix last week and that type of cactus is pretty much mostly in Az.

There are some bold OS and browser choices there PawnSacrifice :p

Maybe stick to Firefox and XP :oldman:

What Operating System and Browser are you using mcbeee?

I work for "Engulf & Devour" so it it would be IE and Windows 2000 Pro for the time being, moving up to Vista soon ( oh hooray, more crap ) At home it is a couple of Mac's with Leopard and usually Firefox but occasionally Safari.

Why are they changing to Vista? Seems a silly idea to me, they'd be better going to Windows XP.

Sounds like Win 2000 and IE is your problem then, good ol' M$ :)

Vista, who knows?, I'll find out when our systems crash. It's all part of getting up to speed with the "Global Process". Why don't you ask them in IT, if you look across the Channel you can probably see them, rolling in all your cash from the last time you filled up with fuel.

Quote: Running Vista & IE and no probs.

We use an old version of IE, really old. WE wouldn't want to run anything that wasn't declared obslete now would we.

I'll try a Mac with Firefox tonight, if it fails, I'll try Safari. One of them should work......

Mcbee, what version of IE is it? If it is Windows 2000 I am guessing it will be IE6 and that'll be why it doesn't work. Anything newer than IE6 should be just fine though :D

:crapparking: :chophead: :soapbox: I see that my mac using firefox works just fine. Once again I am foiled by Bill Gates (and my employer) but in one fell swoop my trusty mac saves the day. (How can you tell I despise Microsoft?)

Girls, guns and fast cars. Not a bad motto, too bad it was taken years ago.

doesn't work for me in IE8, but IE8 in compatability mode works just fine.

also, doesn't work with latest Firefox build on Gentoo for some reason.

Does work fine on my windows mobile phone and opera tho :D

tsk...

popup shows... it just writes the text for the smilie in the popup window, not the main:
