SMG - will a 58 plate coupe have one ??

Hi alol,

Sorry to be dense, but this Z4 stuff is new to me.

Will a 3.0si coupe on a 58 plate have an SMG gearbox or an Auto ?
Whats the difference, how can i tell.
The one I have seen has paddle shifters on the steering and a tiptronic option on the gearknob.

Any help ?????

Lovely, that is straight forward.
A 58 plate will be auto but with paddles
