SMG TO MANUAL CONVERSION

Hi everybody, i just had a problem with my 03 z4 smg. The clutch actuator on the smg was ended his life :( . So I already want to convert it to manual and the new clutch actuator is 3k $. Here is the problem. I know as the e46's parts arent compatible with z4. If anyone done this job please show me your pathway and enbright me :D . Thanks.

Take a look on SMG Society website. A German company, they offer many new or reconditioned parts for all the various types of SMG. They can rebuild your existing clutch actuator for just €150 !

Thank you, i saw that company but anyway, my car is about 170k km and i am afraid to have another problem with smg. And probably that one not gonna be cheap to fix.

Has Wheeler dealers done this on an e46 m3?
Sure I saw a YouTube video on this a while ago.

Is the z4 setup for this or is there any fabrication to do?

Z4's setup is pretty much different, almost nothing is compatible with E46..
Nothing is compatible with the E46 M3 SMG II system, however the 'ordinary' 6 speed SMG system was available on E46, E85, E63 and E60 with M54 engines. http://www.smgsociety.com/model-overview/6-speed-smg/
I would seriously consider a used unit from any of the above rather than going to all the trouble and expense of changing to a 6 speed manual.
On EBAY a 6speed SMG from an E46 with only 88k miles on it for £450 ! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E46-SSG-325CI-325I-330I-330CI-SMG-GEARBOX-GS5S31BZ-7594341-88K-1053401175-/174659915397?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0

That one on the ebay is whole transmission and its cost incredibly expensive for me to ship it thru Turkey. Thats why now i am trying to fix it, i found a guy which is have a mechanic garage, i hope he will fix the part, if he cant probably i will try to send te part to smgsociety to rebuild.
