Smarttop roof module BMW z4 e89 £140

I've got a new & boxed smart top module for the BMW z4 e89 - model is STLFBW3 on their website. Go to the official website & check this is the right module for your car before buying please

Box contains the module itself (latest style with USB update socket), plus the USB cable, and a small velcro mounting patch.

With this module you can configure the roof to one touch open / close, remote open & close, open/close while moving, auto fold mirrors etc, reconfigure window options - it's programmable on your laptop or by the indicator stalk in your vehicle.

They have them on sale at the moment for £302.10 inc VAT, I'm asking £200 delivered (now reduced to £140) within the UK by special delivery.

It's about a 15minute job to install - but easy & needs no tools, just goes in the recess under one of the carpet panels in the boot.

Happy to help if you wanna pop over.

There are simple instructions online that are easy enough to follow though - doubt you would struggle to do it yourself tbh.

Thanks Matt box arrived this morning, I have updated the firm ware set the box up to how I want it and it is fitted and working great... Don't know why BMW don't do this as standard on these cars... Thanks again

Thanks graham, I followed your guide worked a dream.... The only hard part was finding a place to put the connection as there is not much space... But I managed and also left the sub cable attached in case of updates and stuff

Happy customer, always a result....! It's a tight squeeze. I left teh USB cable attached but tucked under the trim so it's not obviously visible. Disable it when it goes in for service.

The tight fit depends on the spec of the the z4 when I fitted a smart top to my old fully specced e89 it really was a tight squeeze much easier on less well specced zeds
