hi all

what do you think about this price? any drawbacks i cant see...

Didn't someone here have serious problems with one recently? Car had to go to bmw to be fixed, even when the module was removed?

Yes ZED five ... a member had a big issue with one of these, had a alarm like general ECU failure some thing like that .. and the car was under warranty I believe, I was going to get one but this put us off
 
Mines been fine -bought from another forum member ( :thumbsup: ) and wouldn't be without it.

It's how the car should be from the factory I say !

And like a good forum member, if you bought it and it had issues I would have been good enough to help sort them. Glad to hear that after almost a year of use you are still singing it praises.......good job I never fitted it or you may never had got it :P
 
I should add, that it was also fitted by another member ( :thumbsup: )

It's really life as it should be!

I would rather buy from the UK supplier or keep your eyes open on here!
They're not cheap but if you move on you'll get most of your cash back.

They are a must have in my book :thumbsup:
 
I just bought one from PPCGB, they have money off at the moment. Fantastic service, was delivered next day by courier.

I have purchased from the States before but by the time you add postage, VAT, fees etc you may end up paying more than the UK suppliers price and then you may have issues with warranty or support so by the time you add the VAT you would be looking at around £304 which is £14 more than PPCGB.

It might be even more, last time I got stung with £30 fee by the courier for collecting the VAT on behalf of HMRC.
 
ok so i spoke to PPCGB - thanks lochpark. They quote a similar price to what you paid. But they said they would do a discount if we bought 5 ... so i will start a new thread
 
I think someone tried to do a group buy on these a few months ago and there was not enough interest.
You never know though people might be interested now.

I have one for sale bought from PPCGB originally. Took it out from Z4 a few months back when I sold it.
Had a buyer (timewaster) who reneged and its been in a draw ever since. Not been on the forum for a while and this thread jogged my memory that I still had it!

1 years use, software updates and all instructions and some other info I printed out at time of fitting.

Asking £150. PM me if interested.

I was on holiday last year when I saw my unit advertised - I didn't wait, I just bagged it there and then.
