Smart Top issue ?

Anyone with a SmartTop have same as this ?

Fitted a unit on Tuesday and programmed it using the indicator stalk and it does everything as it should that I programmed but haven't tested roof up/down at speed as weather naff.

When sat in the car and press the roof open button the red light on the roof close button iluminates and roof opens OK. Press roof close and red light on the roof close button is on for this operation also. I then tried both buttons and you can open the roof with close roof button & vice versa ??? Have read the blurb but it doesn't say either button can be used for any function so a wee bit puzzled.

I can't say I have ever noticed anything odd but I will have a nother look when I get the chance.

Thanks both. Be interesting to know as could be a feature or a fault.

Just re-read the function description and specifically Function 2, it doesn't say that you can use either switch it simply says 'Top operation with console switch' then six bullet points re tapping once, twice etc.

Think a call tomorrow to Mods4cars and ask the question.

Mine doesnt do anything if i press close when the roof is already closed.
