A few people asked about how the mod sounds to disable the exhaust valve, thought I'd do a quick video to demonstrate

Lots of opinions on the web as to whether there is long term cat damage or even turbo damage. Is that even possible??

It's of no consequence. Alarmists. It's simply to control noise emissions.

It is a valve at the back of the exhaust which diverts gases to the bigger silencer rather than having it come out the small one (hence quieter). if you changed the exhaust for a cat back miltek or something else it would remove the valve as it is integrated to the bmw exhaust.

Changing exhausts does not damage the cats or turbos... it is fine.
