Small roof issue (surprise surprise)

A couple of questions for those who have changed the boot closed micro switches...

1. How much interior carpeting has to be removed?
2. What is the torque spec for the 3 main nuts holding the assembly in place?
3. Is Loctite used on the three nuts and the microswitch screws?

Thanks

1. Enough to get to everything
2. Not torque specific nuts on the brackets. As tight as is practical.
3. Thread lock on the tiny M3 machine screws only. That is optional, but seeing as they are so small you really don't wan them working loose.

If you are careful and they are not 'welded' in place you can loosen the existing M3 machine screws and re-use (depending on lots of factors).

1) All on both sides
2) 19 Nm
3) No
4) 4x screws M3x5 is correct

Thanks to you all, but especially RobbiZ4.
I have just done L/H side. Unfortunately went straight to youtube video before reading this and took nuts off without marking.
Put them back noting the wear marks on the car and scribed around nuts heavily with small screwdriver.
Gave up drilling the soft M3 bolts and unscrewed them easily with old side cutters gripping the heads.
My solder skills are good so preferred that to messing up the connectors. Used heatshrink, sleeving and hermetic tape.
Cut new M3 bolts and tapped them. Found some threadlock in shed.
Ensured cable goes on outside of assembly as per the many photos taken.
Put trim back and tested roof and boot mechanisms.
All good, if not I would only have had to inspect, adjust one side.
Now after a cuppa, off to do R/H side with a little more experience.
