Small problem entirely my own making

OK as title suggest have a small problem. I recently got my new wheels which most of you may be aware of. At the time I said that I get a bit of rubbing when pushing on in country lanes etc. Well the lovely weather we have had recently have means I have been pushing the car harder and seeing how well the wheels/tyres cope.
After cleaning today I have notice that the inner wheel arch linings are getting destroyed by my rather exuberant driving. So that's the small problem.
Question.
I know I can replace the linings but I've heard of people putting gun onto them to mould them away from tyres. How do I do this and what type of heat gun is needed
Many thanks in advance for your help
Ray

A normal heat gun..

Warm the plastic liner slowly and mould the liner with a blunt piece of wood or similar..

Hi Mr wilks. Maybe will when this set are worn but nearly new and don't want to pay for another set if can sort arches out

What width alloys/offsets/tyre sizes are you running on the front ?

I tried this mould trick and it didn't work properly. Dropping to 225/35/19 is your best bet.

Gotta agree  even 215 if still struggling but usually if only catching on full compression one drop in tyre width should solve it

Another trick is to put the linings behind the bumper not infront... Gives you another mm or so.

I had 235/35/19 on et40 and didnt have any issues on 5 years.
