Small leak - any ideas

Hi All. Just started the car for the first time since before Xmas, seems fine but noticed a small leak with liquid laying in the under tray below the radiator. Only a small amount of the liquid with just a few drips on garage floor? Any ideas, as very hard to see/get to from above without the option to see underneath?
 
Having myself just dealt with a headlight washer leak, the first thing I'd do is get a drop on your finger and compare the colour of the liquid to that of your washer fluid. It it doesn't match, I'd then compare it to your coolant.
 
just had exactly the same on my 2004SE 3.0 - after thinking the worse ie new water pump ,radiator etc costing hundreds of pounds turns out it was the coolant temperature sensor - needed a new O ring cost from Stealers £2.30 !

If it is leaking from the sensor you will see it's wet directly under it - easy to do it yourself .

+1 mate of mine had the 'O' ring perish on that sensor.... We replaced the O ring and all good, easy to fit too :thumbsup:
 
Thanks for replies. Not sorted yet as it seems to have stopped leaking? Do zeds mend themselves? Seriously need to get round to it before the spring.
 
I wish they did! I bought a small angled inspection mirror with extending arm off eBay so that I could take a good look around the temp sensor, hoses and thermostat housing. Used it loads of times since - a good investment of about £4.
